Housegroups are the heartbeat of St Paul's, where we support and encourage each other, study together and pray for one another's needs. We currently have 19 groups meeting regularly each week at different times in homes all over the Island. ALPHA Meeting throughout the year, this informal course explores what it means to be a Christian. It starts at the very beginning, makes no assumptions and bars no questions. You can sit quietly and absorb, or you can raise issues and ask the questions that have been burning in the back of your mind for years. Many at St Paul's first learned what it means to be a Christian through this group. TODDLER GROUP We place a high importance on our children's ministry. The very successful Toddler Group meets on Friday, 9.30am to 11.30am, in St Paul's Centre, and offers the parents or carers of pre-school children the opportunity to meet each other in a Christian environment while their children make new friends. WEDNESDAY SPECIAL This group, intended for the over 50's, meets on a Wednesday afternoon once a month. The ethos is Christian and it is an ideal place for the mainly retired to meet and enjoy each other's company through a varied programme of events.
CHURCH MAGAZINE The church magazine is published four times a year, providing a forum for news, views, stories, poems, pictures, puzzles and articles as diverse as the members of the congregation. Frequent changes in the editorial team contribute to the variety and freshness of each edition.
POSTER-MAKING New posters are put up each week on the two large notice-boards outside the church, proclaiming the Christian message 365 days a year. Poster Workshops, open to all members of St Paul's or any other church, provide an opportunity to encourage and learn from one another, as we explore new ways of making posters.
