Worship

Worship in
St Paul's takes various forms: prayer, quiet contemplation,
thanksgiving, offering and of course songs and music. The
worship team provide the musical leadership for church services,
their aim being to bring people into God's presence by addressing
the Lord and each other with hymns and spiritual songs.
Worship time includes a mixture of old and new - old favourite
hymns and contemporary Christian praise, from the quietly
contemplative to the passionate and the ones with actions!
There are five worship teams within
St Paul's Church. Each team meets to practise during the week
preceding the Sunday when they are leading and for an hour before
the service to warm up, tune up and pray for each other and the
congregation as it gathers to worship.
