CHILDREN AND FAMILIES
Jesus said, “Let the little children come to me. Don’t stop them, because the kingdom of heaven belongs to people who are like these children.” - Matthew 19 vs 13-15
At St Paul's, we provide an environment where children can feel safe, comfortable and enjoy being with others. All children are encouraged to participate, learning from the bible and being taught in a way that is creative and relevant to them.
Each Sunday, children begin in church with their families for a short time of worship together (including communion on the first Sunday of each month) before heading off to their age-appropriate groups. On the 3rd Sunday of each month, we all stay together for All-Age worship. Our youngest group 'Little Lights' meet in the Upstairs Room of the main church building. The 'older' children's groups gather together in the church fellowship area before being led across to St. Paul's Centre and are then returned to church at the end of the session.

A safe environment for young children to enjoy singing, playing and learning about God and the Bible
Our aim is to encourage the children to learn how to worship God in a variety of ways and begin to develop Bible skills by learning simple Bible verses, being able to retell basic facts about main Bible characters and understanding that the Bible is God's special book.
SPARKS (KS1) 4-7 yrs
Meet in the Lower Hall at St Paul's Centre.
Our aim is to encourage the children to know the fact that Jesus is God's Son, is their Saviour and friend and is deserving of their worship.
We do this by worshipping God in a variety of ways and by helping the children to show Godly attitudes by teaching Bible stories along with relevant games and craft activities.
FLAMES (KS2) - 7-11yrs
Meet in the Upper Hall at St Paul's Centre.
Our older children meet together for worship, prayer, friendship and mini Bible study groups along with relevant drama, games and activities.
We aim to encourage this age group to build on their Bible skills, to know how to find Bible verses, develop Bible-reading and comprehension skills and begin to understand the emphasis of the Old and New Testaments.
